Lillian Mae Smith Moore, 89 of Mamers, NC, died November 25th, 2017. A native of Harnett County she was the daughter of Louis Bethea Smith and Flora Mae Black Smith. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband William Oscar Moore; her brothers Robert "Bobby" and Roosevelt Smith. Lillian is survived by her daughters; Kay Dreyer and husband Larry of Georgia, Dixie Pegram and husband Eddie of Sanford. Son, Willie Moore and wife Linda of Kannapolis. Five grandchildren, Erika Dreyer Lee and husband Randy of Georgia, Daniel Moore of Kannapolis, Elizabeth "Beth" Moore of Kannapolis, Sharon Pegram of Knightdale and Jonathan Pegram of Sanford. Three great-grandchildren, Brook, Gavin, and Harper Lee or Georgia. Sisters, Christine Vinson of Autryville, Jean Upchurch of Broadway, and Vivian Smith Rainbolt of Broadway. Brother, James Smith of Lillington. Lillian was also a faithful servant of God. She was active in Woodside Methodist Church, as a Sunday school teacher and helped with many projects for several years. Later she attended Northwood Temple in Fayetteville. While attending a three-day seminar at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, Lillian received her prayer language, and became a prayer warrior for God. She would also often open her home to family and friends for Bible study. Arrangements were handled by O'Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington, NC. Services were conducted at the funeral home and burial was at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Portrait.
