Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on Hwy 158 E Bus, travel 0.5 mile and turn right onto Hwy 58. Travel 2.2 miles and turn left onto SR 1509 (Warrenton-Embro Rd). Travel 1.3 miles to the dairy farm of the late Nick P. Hunt on the right. Travel 0.25 mile to the cemetery diagonally to the right of the home in a wooded area with dense periwinkle. There is an open grave known to have been open since the early 1900s. The interior wall is lined with large rocks - originally it was lined with marble slabs. Race-White
Note: Peter Mitchel, who emigrated from Scotland in 1797, established a mercantile business in Warrenton and owned Elgin Plantation four miles from Warrenton.
There are broken pieces of engraved stones with one possibly "our child".
