Directions: From Warrenton courthouse on N Main St, travel 0.2 mile and turn left onto Ridgeway St and Hwy 158 W Bus/401 N. Travel 4.1 miles to Norlina and turn left onto Hwy 1 S/158 W. Travel 4.5 miles and turn left onto SR 1151 (Soul City Blvd). Travel 0.2 to the site of the old Reavis homeplace on the right in the woods before the railroad crossing.
The abandoned cemetery could not be found in 2004. A Department of Transportation employee said the highway was constructed as to preserve the cemetery. In a conversation with Mrs. Margaret Champion Kimball in 1992, she said the Champion Cemetery is near the site of the old Reavis house near Manson and Soul City. The house is no longer standing.
