Cemetery is located Behind Womack Electric, 1205 N Scales St, Reidsville, NC 27320. It is directly East of the store.

The cemetery contains three tombstones that are clearly marked and others that were made using a nail or something along that line to make a tombstone. Many of the graves are caving in due to deterioration of the coffins. Last grave to be placed appears to be Colorado Galloway in 1951.

There are at least three Veterans of WW-l located in this cemetery. Colorado being one of them. This is an African American Cemetery and it is now owned by Little Salem Christian Church. Burton is the name of this cemetery according to Death Certificates. Many field stones are placed in the graveyard with no identification. They are known only to God.

1. Carter, Robert   (b. 31 Jan 1881 - d. 11 Jan 1947)
Husband of Mary Carter. Son of Virginia "Jenny" Carter. He had lost his left arm and left leg by 1918 when he registered for the draft. Cement home-made grave marker.
2. Finch, Sam Henry   (b. 22 Apr 1891 - d. 24 Sep 1939)
Son of Milton Finch and Mariah Gunn Finch. Pvt. 1st Class, US Army, 344 Serv. Bn. QMC.
3. Galloway, Colorado   (b. 25 Jun 1898 - d. 13 Oct 1951)
Husband of Essie Hunter Staples Galloway. Married 20 Apr 1935. Son of John Wilson Galloway and Mary Lue Maroney Galloway. US Army, WW-I.
4. Reid, Tony   (b. 27 Mar 1857 - d. 14 Apr 1917)
Son of Peter Reid and Dena Reid.
