Location - off Fairport Rd. about 6/10 mile past Peace's Chapel Church in the woods.

Directions: From Oxford take Hwy 96S toward Wilton. Turn left on Fairport Rd. Drive approximately 5 miles to Peace's Chapel Church. Pass the church driving 6/10 mile further. The cemetery is located on right in woods that have been recently harvested some distance from the road.

According to the 1850 Granville County census, David Cargill was born in Scotland; Elizabeth and the children were born in NC and were the only Cargill family in Granville County at that time.
